Arsen Karapetyan

“Music has been my passion since I was three years old—that's when I taught myself to play the piano and composed my first piece.”

“My biggest dream is to become a pianist, composer, and conductor – following in the footsteps of my role model Frédéric Chopin.”

At the age of 13, Arsen Karapetyan has already achieved more than many musicians do in their entire lives: numerous national and international competition successes, over a dozen compositions of his own, and admission to the prestigious Evgeni Mikeladze Central Music School in Tbilisi.

There he studies with the renowned pianist Nino Katamadze – supported by international foundations such as SOS Talents. But his place in this world of music cannot be taken for granted: Arsen lives alone in Tbilisi, far away from his family, and needs help to finance his accommodation, food, and travel.

Those who accompany him on this journey not only enable the promotion of an exceptional talent, but also give a young artist the chance to share his music with the world.

Funding

Through the venturenauten community, Arsen receives:

Mentoring from Susan Peronne
Networking with sponsors and organizers in the classical music scene, as well as contact with established musicians
Financial support to participate in competitions
Professional studio recordings
Production of an image film
Organisation of a benefit concert

So far, this support has enabled Arsen to participate in the renowned Arno Babajanyan International Competition in Yerevan (Armenia). He won first prize and the gold medal. As a special honor, he was then invited to perform at the competition's closing gala.

The charity concert raised more than €5,000 and secured monthly financial support. With these funds, Arsen will be able to concentrate fully on his development in the coming months.

Further funding is needed until 2031 for:

Accommodation in Tbilisi and travel expenses (USD 5,000 per year)
Travel expenses for participation at competitions & accommodation (USD 2,000 per year)
Project-related support for competition trips, international competitions, master classes, composition commissions
